Five firms shortlisted for trans harbour link - 11 May 2012 - DNAPublished On :2012-05-15 17:16:00The project will be implemented through Public-Private Partnership on
the Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. It is
thereafter the shortlisted consortiums are expected to finalise designs,
technical details, financial details, actual survey of project site and
prepare their bids around October 2012.
The Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link connects Sewri in the island city to to
Nhava in Navi Mumbai. The link is 22 km long with a 16.5km long bridge
across Mumbai Harbor and 5.5km long viaduct approaches on the Sewri and
